Internships

Where I’ve worked and the projects I’ve worked on.

WarnerMedia

MASS MEDIA COMPANY

Selected to be their first and only UX intern, I worked at the Warner Innovation Lab, a growing hub of technology development. In the lab, I designed to create products that would promote fandom for shows on HBO or WarnerBros (i.e. Euphoria). The lab has a heavy focus on using AI & Machine Learning tech to power a variety of products and prototypes.

Eureka Surveys

A STARTUP

While taking a gap semester, I decided to join an aspiring startup! With only 7 members, I was able to work closely and learn from all parts of the company (i.e. engineering, marketing, finance). As a lead product designer, I was responsible of the agile end-to-end processes from conducting user research to launching new features/updates.

PNC

A FINANCIAL INSTITUTION

Summer 2020, everyone had to go virtual. Despite the chaos from the pandemic, new WFH policies, and the uncertain future, I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to work with PNC. I worked with their Mobile App team to redesign their mobile banking app, specifically the menu and rewards page, that would reach their 4 million online banking customers.

Rightbrain X Prudential

DESIGN AGENCY

During the summer of 2019, I had the opportunity to work with Prudential Life Insurance of Korea (POK) as part of the UX Consultant team of Rightbrain. With my team, I spent the summer conducting user research, running ideation workshops with the Prudential team, and working closely with UI designers & front-end engineers to design a new app. The app is aimed to improve the efficiency and quality of working lives of the Life Planners (LP), employees at Prudential.

As much as I would like to share the full scope of my work at these companies, I am under NDA and cannot display clear samples of my process. However, I can tell you more about my work experiences and how I grew as a designer through them. Please contact me if interested!
